Yours to shape Showcase 2024
On 12 September we held the annual Graduate Showcase at IKON, which marked the end of the 12 month Yours to Shape programme for our 2023 cohort.
Yours to Shape
The 14 participants presented their individual projects which were wide and varied but all have delivered improvements for their respective teams. It is a testament to the calibre of the participants and the progress that they have made over the course of the 12 month program that 5 from this group have received promotions during that time.
The current DTP program that started in March reached its mid-point in October and another program also started October.
DTP is now so popular that we intend to run an extra program in 2025, so there will 3 rather
2 program running next year.
At the event, 27 graduates across 5 teams presented the results of the projects they had been working on since March 2024. As always, this was a great celebration and gave the graduates the opportunity to demonstrate all the time and effort they had put into tackling some big challenges set for them by the business on subjects covering AI in Kingspan, digital learning tools, the innovation process, the launch of HemKor, and the development of a risk management framework. We wish them all every success as they move on to the next stage of their respective careers at Kingspan.
Over the summer, our 2024 Yours to Shape cohort has been joining the business, and launch calls for the 2024/25 program took place in October. Module 1 of the new program was held in Bruges, and while we were there, we had the opportunity for a fascinating visit to Joris Ide. There was great excitement and energy in the room as the 29 graduates in this group got together in person for the first time, and I know they have a great program ahead of them.
We have also kicked off the campaign to recruit the 2025 Yours to Shape cohort. Go-live for North America was on September 9, followed by GB&I on September 30. We will go live in Europe in mid-January 2025. Thank you to all the hiring managers and HR representatives for their support of the graduate recruitment process, which we continue to review and update each year. The internal career portal continues to be a fantastic resource for employees to explore and apply for job vacancies in various divisions and regions.
Inclusion and Diversity
During the pilot programmes we collected feedback from the participants, facilitators, and other stakeholders to review the quality and effectiveness of the content and delivery. We listened to this feedback and made a number of adjustments to the programs.
Our Ignite program in Spain and APAC, along with the Accelerate program in France, concluded this summer. We have launched three additional cross-divisional programs in English across three levels: Ignite, Accelerate, and Evolve.
We are proud to share since our partnership with DDI in July 2023 we have had over 280 people participate in our programs. Our team of accredited internal facilitators are actively supporting the delivery of these programmes.
We are excited to launch further Ignite, Accelerate and Evolve programs in multiple languages, including French and German, in the first half of 2025.

New Leadership and Management Programmes
The projects covered a variety of topics, including acquisition integration, circularity, business strategy, and retrofit/renovation. Participants returned to their businesses with a final 1:1 coaching session and LCP 360 to complete.

In September we launched our Group wide People Pulse survey. This survey is part of our broader People Passionate program, which was launched to create a genuinely inclusive culture that enables employees across Kingspan to do their best work. We want to enable a diverse workforce that feels included and supported as part of the wider Kingspan team, and we can only do this by first understanding people’s experience of working with each other across the group.
Thank you to everyone for completing the survey and for sharing your opinions to help build a stronger and more inclusive Kingspan community.
We are excited to launch cohort 3 of our Kingspan Executive Leadership Program in partnership with INSEAD Business School in November 2024!
Participants will come together Q1 next year for a face-to-face residential module in Fontainebleau, France, followed by a 7-week IAD module.
