We are Enterprising:
Through our Planet Passionate Communities programme, we're supporting enterprise and sustainable development alongside Just a Drop and the Africa Sand Dam Foundation. The teams on the ground, working closely with community leaders and local partners are helping to build resources that empower communities, foster resilience, and create lasting economic opportunities such as the rainwater harvesting tanks.
It's inspiring to see firsthand how collaboration and entrepreneurship can drive positive change. Together, we’re creating a future where communities can thrive with access to clean water, education, and sustainable enterprise.

“The work with Habitat for Humanity is one of the most rewarding things I was able to do during my professional career. This organization helps families to build a life and gives opportunity. It is amazing to see how people and companies from all areas work together for the greater good and towards a common goal. It shows that organizations care about their communities and want to make a difference. It is great to be part of this.”

Here is my experience regarding helping as a volunteer for Habitat For Humanity.
"As a blessed person to have a good home, good family, good parent and good education, I want to give back my time and effort to help others.
I had this opportunity through my Employer AWIP to be a good steward of my time and effort. When I give my time to help others, I create the memories on building a new future to a less fortunate family.
You shall love your neighbour as yourself.

So whatever you wish that others would do to you, do also to them, for this is the Law and the Prophets.

Antonio Lucena
"A true act of service and generosity, they can drive by and tell their family and friends I helped build that".
I thought I would share my why.
Why did I select Habitat for Humanity (HFH), first aligns deeply with my values of faith, stewardship, serving others and community service, which also aligns with our business values to give back to our communities, to be responsible stewards. We (AWIP) exist to provide sustainable, energy-efficient, and high-quality insulated panel systems, to lead the market in sustainable building materials, enhancing environmental stewardship and this project hits each of those goals.
Partnership with HFH provides an almost idealistic opportunity, it is a tangible opportunity to inspire our teammates, give to your community and have an opportunity to actively participate in something that changes a person life. It is an opportunity for our teammates to see something they make every day at work tangibly make a difference in a family’s life, in this case a single father of three.
Making a difference together.

Habitat for Humanity Project
Oct 1, 2024
Couple of our panel line teammates with assistance from Technical Services field technician began seaming the room. Teaching Habitat people how to seam IMP. We hope seaming is completed next week. Once complete, the interior work will commence on the home with homeowner moving in by end of year.
March 1st 2023
Stephanie and a few from her team came to Little Rock Plant for a Tour, and meeting about how we could partner by donating materials to construct a Home, as well as volunteering to construct. They already had homes planned through the remainder of the year, so thought was we would focus on 2024 schedule.
May, 2024
Our marketing team began coordination with Habitat team, collecting details for video of the project, who would be interviewed etc.
May 15, 2024
We brought the Habitat Construction Superintendents to the plant for all day Installation Class by Technical Services Manager Bill Lohsen.
May 21, 2024
Our first team went and assisted in the constructing of the interior stud walls, we continued to work on the home weather and schedules permitting through July 2024.
November 16, 2023
We meet again discussing opportunity to start a home in May of 2024, getting house designs to our drafting team etc…. began working on details and timelines.
February 8, 2024
We provided another plant tour, and meet with their new Construction Supervisor who needed to get some additional details and specs for building permit and planning purposes.
April 17, 2024
We had more follow up, project had some delays due to weather, Habitat was keeping us posted so we could arrange delivery of panels, and coordinate volunteers to help construct.

They already had homes planned through the remainder of the year, so thought was we would focus on 2024 schedule.
This project makes a positive impact on our community and allows our teammates to be instrumental in that impact. Through the donation of materials, we embody and demonstrate our company values, through meaningful acts of goodwill we inspire our teammates as they are part of some greater, they feel that their work contributes to something larger. Things like sustainable housing solution, creating long term stability for families, building affordable housing are all things they can relate to
Personally, As a leader, I aim to create a lasting legacy rooted in raising future leaders and service to others that makes our world a better place. Engaging in efforts such as this is a way to model servant leadership, inspiring our teammates and others in the industry to use their resources for the greater good. It aligns my faith and my business practices, setting an example for how corporate success can go hand-in-hand with meaningful contributions to society.
Ultimately, partnering with Habitat for Humanity in Arkansas offers a unique opportunity to live out my faith, build stronger communities, and enhance the culture within my organization, while taking pride in what I do for a living and the company for which I work!
