To help get our teams across the globe excited about the rollout of People Passionate, we spoke to Tristan Boulic-Palewski, Head of HR for Kingspan's newest Division Roofing + Waterproofing. Within his Division, People Passionate is already kicking off with three focus areas for 2024.
"In a sense, People Passionate is our typical HR work," says Tristan. "What the programme does effectively is put the HR agenda in the spotlight and allowing for more focus on employee engagement."
Tristan’s Divisional focus areas for 2024 include the introduction of an employee engagement survey, the standardisation of job descriptions and expectations for employee development, and the design of a common process for performance management and reviews.
These goals are designed to hear the voice of our employees, make sure they know what our organization is expecting from them. On top, it enables this particular Division, one of the newest additions to Kingspan Group, to feel more "as one." As this Division moves into 2025 and beyond, further initiatives will be implemented to enhance the employee experience for everyone.
In 2024, your Division and business unit will begin introducing People Passionate updates specific to your programme goals, as well as engaging activities and hands-on initiatives to encourage employee engagement.

You may be familiar with Kingspan's People Passionate programme, which was launched by CEO Gene Murtagh, and Group Head of Leadership Development Keara Dunne in November 2023 to improve our internal employee experience within Kingspan Group. However, while our divisional management and HR teams have been hard at work establishing the programme and planning People Passionate activities and initiatives for 2024, its impact might not have been felt yet within your team.
Tristan Boulic-Palewski tells us how People Passionate is being implemented across the Division.
