In November, we visited Lviv in Ukraine, the future location of our €280 million Building Technology Campus. This site will manufacture insulated panels, mineral wool, daylighting products and district heating solutions. This initiative, Project Saoirse, is progressing well with various plans for the construction now submitted to the Ukraine Building Authorities for final approval and building permit. We are hopeful site clearance and ground preparation work will begin by March of this year. Naturally, we have also been working closely with local organisations, with specific focus on education and training programmes with Lviv universities and vocational schools, in order to support the employment demand we will have.
We are also very proud to have been named as an investment ambassador of Ukraine, recognising our longstanding presence in Ukraine since 2010.
With our ambitious growth plans, the need to attract and retain great people in our businesses has never been more important. Our People Passionate programme is central to achieving this, ensuring we continue to build an environment where everyone is enabled to do their best work. The programme has now seen a number of key foundation projects introduced in the last 12 months. It is also fantastic to see the newest cohort of Yours To Shape graduates completing the programme, with the 2025/2026 programme just launched. Our new leadership and management programmes - Ignite, Accelerate and
Evolve- are also going from strength to strength.
Our Planet Passionate programme has also seen us reach some great milestones, with the coming year looking equally as impressive. In particular, Planet Passionate Week was testimony to the dedication and great work that happens across all of our businesses to support people and communities around the world. I'm looking forward to the imminent launch of the Planet Passionate Report which will showcase the great work that has been done over the last 12 months.
As always, I would like to thank our teams around the world that help us make a meaningful difference.
