In November, we visited Lviv, Ukraine, the future home of our €280 million Building Technology Campus. This site will manufacture insulated panels, mineral wool, daylighting products, and district heating solutions. Project Saoirse, this initiative, is progressing well, with various construction plans now submitted to the Ukrainian Building Authorities for final approval and building permits. We are hopeful that site clearance and ground preparation will begin by March of this year. Naturally, we’ve also been working closely with local organizations, with a specific focus on education and training programs with universities and vocational schools in Lviv, to support the employment demand we anticipate.
We’re also incredibly proud to have been named investment ambassadors for Ukraine, recognizing our long-standing presence in the country since 2010.
With our ambitious growth plans, attracting and retaining top talent has never been more crucial. Our People Passionate program plays a key role in this by ensuring we continue to create an environment where everyone is empowered to do their best work. Over the past 12 months, the program has introduced several key foundational projects. It’s also exciting to see the newest cohort of Yours To Shape graduates completing the program, with the 2025/2026 edition just launching. Our new leadership and management programs — Ignite, Accelerate, and Evolve — are also gaining momentum.
Our Planet Passionate program has also reached significant milestones, and the year ahead is set to be just as impressive. In particular, Planet Passionate Week showcased the dedication and great work happening across all our businesses to support people and communities around the world. I’m looking forward to the upcoming launch of the Planet Passionate Report, which will highlight the outstanding work completed over the past 12 months.
